Why should I be an ACE Tax Program Member?

How to make money with ACE:

Referral Program:
Each time a customer uses your Tax Program Member code when they cash a tax refund check or tax refund debit card with us, we will record your Tax Program Member code in our system. You will earn a percentage of ACE's fee for each such transaction, starting at 6% if you’ve selected to be paid by direct deposit! There is no limit to how much you can earn, but you must earn at least $10 in referral fees to be paid. See Terms and Conditions for details.

In-Lobby Program:
By reaching hundreds of potential customers during tax season, and saving money compared to year-round rent, you could make more this tax season by locating in an ACE lobby.

Why is ACE good for my customers?

Registration:

Do returning Tax Program Members have to register?
Yes! In order to qualify for this program, returning and new tax Program Members must register. Login using your credentials from last year and you will be prompted to update your contact and mailing information. Please click here to register.

Who can become an ACE Tax Program Member?
Anyone who prepares income tax returns for the public or works in a tax preparation office is eligible.

Can I be an ACE Tax Program Member even if I am employed by someone else?
Yes! As an ACE Tax Program Member you reap the rewards of working with ACE, but you aren't employed by us. If you'd like to get your entire office involved in the referral program, refer your office manager to your local ACE District Manager.

When is the deadline to register as an ACE Tax Program Member?
Our available in-lobby spaces often go quickly, so sign up now! You can sign up for our referral program at any time before tax season.

How much do I make for each referral?

How do I get credit for my referrals?
It's easy. 1) Register at AceTaxProgram.com. 2) Give your customers your Tax Program Member code to provide to ACE when they cash their tax refund check or tax refund debit card. We will provide you with coupons to handout to your customers which you can mark your member ID on. 3) Receive your commissions weekly by direct deposit or by check at the end of the season!
How will I be paid for referring customers to ACE?
We've made collecting your cash simple! When you register to be an ACE Tax Program Member, you will select either direct deposit or check payment. Program Members who select direct deposit will be paid weekly. If you select check payment, you will receive one check after tax season - normally by July 1, 2025. Want direct deposit but don't have an account? Just sign up for ACE Flare Account or Porte Account today, and account numbers will be provided to you immediately.

Am I still eligible to receive the referral fee if I'm working in the lobby?
You bet! And with access to all of the lobby traffic, you'll have the opportunity to earn even more in referral fees.

How do I sign up for an ACE lobby?
Please click here to register for the ACE Tax Program. During registration, click the "I am interested in the ACE In-Lobby Program" box. You will be contacted to choose your lobby location. Terms and conditions apply.

What are the advantages of locating my office at ACE during tax season?
Being an ACE In-Lobby Tax Program Member gives you access to hundreds of potential clients a month and saves you money on overhead expenses. With your office in our high-traffic lobby, you'll have more exposure and profitable opportunities. Plus, you don't have to sign a long-term lease!

Do I have to pay ACE for the advantage of working in the lobby?

Will I have to share the space with other Tax Professionals?
No! ACE only allows one Tax Professional per lobby, so you won't have to share space – or customers! But act now, before all of our lobbies are filled.

Will I get an office, desk, computer or other materials?
You will be responsible for your own equipment.

Do I need to follow certain rules or restrictions while working in the lobby?
You must be in your ACE Tax Program Member workspace during your advertised office hours. You are only allowed in your area; teller area is off limits. Additional terms and conditions apply.

Can I work my own office hours, or must I work certain hours?
Although you can set your own hours, we hope you make the most of this valuable opportunity to attract clients and make money. Therefore, we encourage you to work as many hours as possible.

Do you share my customer information with any other tax Program Member?
Absolutely not. Your personal information is always confidential.
